- Kenilworth Steel is pleased to offer steel warehousing services that include rail/truck transloading and indoor under hook (crane) steel storage services. The Brier Hill warehouse is located approximately ½ mile from Route 80 and is conveniently located near the Youngstown Belt Railroad (YBRR) yard. Kenilworth is served by the YBRR (G&W Short line RR) which interchanges with both CSX & NS in Youngstown, OH. The move from our previous location in Youngstown OH to this new location in Girard OH was completed during June of 2023. Kenilworth Steel specializes in sales/distribution of Prime Carbon and Alloy Steel Plate. Several thousand tons of prime steel plate is in stock. The total size (approx. 225,000 sq. ft.) of the Girard, OH (Brier Hill) warehouse location enables Kenilworth Steel to offer steel transloading and indoor storage services. We are already performing transloading & storage services for some of our regular customers, and we have the ability to unload and store other steel products such as (but not limited to) HRC, CRC, HDG, Wire Rod in coil, etc. Our experience with sales and distribution of prime newly manufactured steel plate, requiring full traceability, gives us a very clear understanding of what ‘full traceability’ means on an item-by-item basis ie: heat numbers, plate i.d. numbers, coil i.d. numbers, etc… Our computer system can readily provide complete inventory reports (and history) as required. Crane Capacities: 1 x 10nt crane, 2 x 20nt cranes and 1 x 40nt crane, we can handle most steel related commodities. Maximum coil weight 30nt.
