Since 1995, Genesse & Wyoming's two short lines in Oregon have offered safe, efficient and sustainable freight transportation to the state's urban and rural areas along the Interstate 5 corridor, serving Oregon businesses including Teevin Brothers, Roseburg Forest Products and Georgia-Pacific.

The company's Oregon railroads cover more than 800 track miles, employ more than 200 community members and, with rail being four times more fuel-efficient than truck, remove roughly 430,000 truckloads from the state's roads and highways annually.

The 306-mile CORP has 248 track miles in the state, serving industries from Eugene/Springfield Junction to Ashland. It connects to Union Pacific's network in Eugene (and again in Black Butte, California) as well as to fellow short lines Rogue Valley Terminal Railroad in White City and Flat Iron Rail in Montague, California. In December 2024, CORP took over operations of Union Pacific's Eugene Yard.

Portland & Western Railroad (PNWR)

Spanning 478 miles, PNWR begins in Eugene and runs up to Port Westward with several branches along the way, including from Albany to Toledo. It serves Portland industries and offers customers access to both BNSF's (in Vancouver and Portland) and Union Pacific's (in Eugene and Portland) Class I networks. PNWR also interchanges with fellow short line Albany & Eastern Railroad in Albany and Corvallis.
