The Golden Isles Terminal Railroad (GITM) is a 13-mile short
line freight railroad serving the Georgia Ports Authority and
interchanging with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
Commodities transported include automobiles, chemicals, and food
and feed products.
The GITM was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 1998.
