Central Railroad of Indianapolis

Central Railroad of Indianapolis

Overview

Central Railroad of Indianapolis (CERA) is a Class III short-line railroad that operates 39 miles of rail line in north central Indiana. Although this road is a relatively short line, it provides transportation service to over 8,000 cars per year. Major commodities for CERA are corn, scrap iron and steel and soybeans.

Customers located on the CERA are primarily grain-related; however, there are opportunities for other customers to relocate and enjoy excellent service and link to all of North America through interchanges with USRP and NS.
