GWI charitable giving benefits organizations in the communities
where our railroads operate, and beyond.
Our Matching Gift Program provides a corporate match to multiply
the charitable contributions of our employees. Each year, the
program contributes to local, state and national organizations
including hospitals, schools, libraries, theaters, museums and
historical societies, humane societies, fire departments, food
banks, parks and nature conservancies.
Each holiday season, GWI also makes donations to charitable
organizations selected by our operating regions. For 2011, the
regions selected the following organizations:
